Directions

1. Cut butter into pieces.
2. Pre-heat oven to 220?C.
3. In a bowl, combine all purpose flour, lemon zest, salt, sugar, currant and baking powder.
4. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
5. In another bowl, stir heavy cream, vanilla extract and egg.
6. Pour liquids over flour mixture.
7. Mix everything until it comes together.
8. In a floured surface, pat dough into a circle.
