Directions

1. Mince raw garlic. Chop green bell pepper and onion.
2. In a skillet, saute green bell pepper, rice, raw garlic and onion in butter.
3. Add beef bouillon cube, fresh oregano, bay leaf, turmeric, hot pepper sauce, water, black peppercorns and salt. Bring to a boil.
4. Cover and cook for 25 minutes over low heat.
5. Discard bay leaf.
6. Fluff rice with a fork.
